Ghella selected among the 200 best large companies included in the 2024 Sustainability Leaders list by Il Sole 24 Ore – Statista

Ghella has been selected again among the best large companies included in the 2024 Sustainability Leaders list by Il Sole 24 Ore in collaboration with Statista, a leading market research and business data analysis company. This recognition rewards the efforts of the most committed Italian companies in the ecological, ethical, social, and governance transition and testifies to the success of Ghella’s journey towards improved sustainability performance.  

From 1,500 relevant companies the list was narrowed down to 500 by analyzing 2022 sustainability reports and consolidated financial statements; 45 indicators were considered, covering the three ESG dimensions: environmental, social, and governance. Only the top 200 large companies and 40 medium-small companies were included in the ranking.    

Compared to the previous edition, the number of applications has increased and the indicators of the SMEs included in the list among the 240 Italian companies on a sustainability journey have improved.   

“We are pleased to find that the focus of each company, large as well as small and medium-sized, in the three dimensions of sustainability is improving year by year,” commented Lisa Dei, research manager for Statista.
