Ghella shortlisted for 4 awards at the New Civil Engineer Tunneling Festival

Great acknowledgement for Ghella in the first phase of the New Civil Engineer Tunneling Festival: Ghella and its JV partners have been shortlisted for 4 awards of the Festival.

The New Civil Engineer’s Tunnelling Festival is a gathering designed to bring together the very best of the tunnelling community with a high focus on extensive professional festival program and celebration of the best projects of the year.

Acciona Ghella Joint Venture (AGJV) and Bane NOR have been nominated for “Major project of the year (over $500M)” for the Follo Line Project, the largest Tunnel Boring Machine project in Norway.

Together with John Holland and CPB, Ghella has furthermore been shortlisted in three categories for the Sydney Metro Project: “Community Engagement Initiative of the Year”, “Environment & Sustainability Initiative of the Year”, “Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year”.

Ghella is also working in the Sain Martin La Porte worksite (SMP4), which has been selected with its “Real time DPM evaluation and monitoring deployment program” in a fifth category, for the “Health, Safety & Wellbeing Initiative of the Year”.

The winners will be announced at the Tunnelling Festival’s Gala Dinner, which will be held the 5th of December 2019 in London.
